Quick Update

My Etsy shop has been updated, so go check it out here. There are a few more blankets and dishcloths. More pictures are to follow here of a few more projects I have completed of late. Just to name a few to keep you intrigued (pictures will follow eventually) Children's Belt, Rat Hammock, and Guinea Pig Cage Liners. Recycling Baby Blanket and Burp Cloth

 This royal blue fleece blanket and burp cloth set feature the recycling symbol in vibrant colors

Dishcloth and Two Scrubbies in Composite Holiday Colors

This dishcloth and scrubbie set is the perfect addition to your kitchen both during the holidays and any time. They are made of a cotton yarn of red, green and white. The scrubbies do appear lighter to the eye because of the white tulle that is used to give it a nice coarse feel that will help with some of the toughest food spots when cleaning.

All of my basic dishcloths measure approximately 8 inches square, and my scrubbies are approximately 4 inches by 3 inches, and are handmade. They are washer and dryer friendly. It is available on Etsy.

Composite Colored Holiday Dishcloth and Scrubbie Set

 This festive set of 2 basic dishcloths and 2 dish scrubbies are made of a red, green, and white composite cotton yarn. The scrubbies do appear lighter than the dishcloths due to the use of white tulle to give them the gentle roughness that will help remove the food from all of your dishes including your nonstick pans.
All my dishcloths measure approximately 8 inches square and all of my scrubbies measure about 4 inches by 3 inches with some slight variations possible given that each item is handmade by myself.
I have a set of these myself that are used in my kitchen and wash and dry them with my regular laundry. These are available on Etsy.

Crib Rail Guard

   So these are a project I started just after we bought our son his crib. I got the idea from the knitty professors blog. I had bought inexpensive rail guards from Ikea that don't actually work on this crib because of the slight sleighbed type curve of the rail. I then modified the pattern from the knitty professors blog to try to accommodate the thickness of nate's rails, got started, and forgot about it. I had only managed to make about a foots worth of rail before I stopped working on it due to moving my computer and craft stuff downstairs, but I digress. Since he was so little (both age and height) I didn't really see the need to relocate my supplies again until I went in to get him out of his bed just after naptime one day last week and found him trying to figure out how to dig his 1.5 teeth into the very railing I wished to protect. So I decided it must be finished and I am now quite pleased with the results. I used two strands of cotton, one in a yellow variegated and one in an orange variegated. I am not sure as of yet whether or not to try and get those side rails as well since they start at the same height as the front rail.

 Rise and Shout the Cougars are Out!

Slight variations in size are possible since each of them were handmade. They are tough enough to help remove stuck on food, but gentle enough to not scratch your non-stick pans. On Etsy.
