I really am liking how this one is coming together. I specifically went with subtle differences in the squares. I play to accent the spaces when I quilt it by inlining (outlining just seemed like the wrong word :P ) each of the spaces.
I do feel that the curved piecing was faster (and easier) than the foundation piecing used for the curved spaces. However, I can say that I am getting pretty good at being able to just fold down the strip of fabric to get the spaces so I don't have to cut a piece of fabric for each space.
